The FCGA, working in cooperation with the Desert Sands Unified School District and specialists in historical curriculum, have developed lesson plans that bring World War II to life for school children.

High School Curriculum Package
9-12 Grade Level
Curriculum/State Standard
Grade 10.8 Students analyze the causes and consequences of World War II.

Site Visit Overview
Prior to touring the education center, students receive a brief overview of World War II. Before entering the education center, students receive a personal identity sheet that they will complete while touring the center. Upon exiting, the students will learn the fate of their personal identity. Once the students return to the classroom, they will complete one of the writing activities on the back of the worksheet for their identity.

Objectives
To bring a more meaningful W.W.II educational experience to students and teachers. Exposing students to historians and memorabilia creates a dynamic and memorable learning experience allowing them to develop a more reflective knowledge of the subject.
